ORLC Christian Educational Opportunities

Our Redeemer has a number of opportunities for it's members to participate in a Bible study. The classes range from in-depth studies of the books of the Bible to applying God's word to daily life. Notices on the bulletin boards and in the newsletter announce the topics. We offer the following study groups in addition to the Sunday morning class.

We also attempt to have another weekly Bible Class offered here at the church. Depending on the time of the year, this may happen on Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evening.  Watch the LUV and the monthly calendar for additional information on these classes.

              Sunday - Weekly - 9:40 a.m. - Children Sunday School, Confirmation Classes for children in grades 6 through 8 and Adult Bible Classes. Couples Bible Study Group meets on Sunday evening at 5:30.

              Thursday - Weekly - 9:30-11:00 a.m. - Ladies AM Bible Study (LAMBS)         

              Friday - Weekly - 6:30 a.m. - Men's Breakfast Bible Study

              3rd Saturday - Monthly - 9:30 a.m. - Ladies AM Bible Class

For the Children 

Our Sunday School program begins with our Preschool for children ages 3 to 5.  Beginning with kindergarten, the children will follow their regular school class throughout Sunday school.  At times, we may combine classes for a year depending on the size of the class and the availability of teachers.  Confirmation classes are taught within the Sunday School program beginning with the 6th grade and going through the 8th grade.  The High School class is also a combined class for children in grades 9th through 12th.  All of our Sunday School curriculum for the children is purchased through Concordia Publishing.

 Additionally, we hold a one week Vacation Bible School during the summer.  We have a lot of fun with this so if you would like to know more about it, VBS 2004. VBS 2005
