On Thursday evening, February 23rd, a gathering of the many friends in the congregation met to bid Pastor and Jean Hollis farewell as they prepared to leave Our Redeemer and move to their new church home in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Pastor Hollis has accepted a call to Island Lutheran Church at Hilton Head. This was quite an emotional time for all.

Gregory P. Hollis, Ph.D., served as Associate Pastor at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church since having completed his last year in the DELTO program through Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis, Missouri under the tutelage of Pastor Dunker. During his years of training, he served as assistant to the pastor for the Youth Ministry Program, taught Confirmation and High School Sunday School Classes, and designed and began the Contemporary Worship Service.

His primary work as Associate Pastor was in the areas of Youth Ministry and Evangelism. He will now serve Island Lutheran Church as its sole pastor. To view the web site of Island Lutheran Church go here; islandlutheran.org
