Fine Arts Ministry Mission Statement

To maintain a focus on our God, utilizing all talents and gifts toward His glory as we, through Him, build and strengthen relationships in service to Jesus Christ, His Church, each other and our community.

Goals and Objectives

• To INVOLVE children/youth in the worship services and activities of ORLC through the Fine Arts programs.
   

• To INVOLVE children/youth in the needs of our community through the Fine Arts programs.
   

• To ACTIVATE interest from adults in what these young people are doing and urge active support.
   

• To INVOLVE adults in the Fine arts programs and supportive fellowship activities.
   

• To EXPOSE ORLC to the community through the Fine Arts programs and make this church as an attractive
    option for those looking for a church home.
   

• To PROVIDE variety and quality in the music program and in the life of the church.
   

• To CONTRIBUTE to a spirit of "Christian Community" through the Fine arts programs and all fellowship activities.

Everyone is invited to participate in one or more of these ministries. There is something for all ages.

Choirs and Handbells
Refer to the monthly church calendar for any changes or questions.
Our Director of fine Arts Ministry Groups position is currently vacant.

     Cherub Tone Chime Choir - Ages three to
1st grade - Rehearsals on Sunday mornings
from 9:30 to 9:40.

     Cherub Choir and Bells - 3 years to Kindergarten, Rehearsals Sundays from 4:30 to 5:30p.m., under the
                                            direction of Deanna Clarkson.

     Children's Choir - 1st - 6th Grade - Rehearsal on Sundays at 4:30 - 5:00 p.m.

"Lights for the World" - 7th - 12th Grade - Rehearsals every Sunday at 5:30 p.m.  Handbells for this age is included in the rehearsal. This group tours the first full week of summer each year.

Service Choir - Adults and older teens, meets on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings from 9:40 to 10:30. Weekday rehearsals will change to Thursdays at 7:00p.m. during Lent and Advent.

Worship Bells - Adults and older teens, Rehearsals on Sunday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
