REFORMATION FESTIVAL 2004

Our Reformation Services and Family Fall Festival began on October 31, 2004, with our 8:15 Matins Service. Our Lights For The World Youth group presented us with pre-service worship in song to begin the 11:00 service. These services were well attended and very moving as we celebrated the anniversary of the Reformation.

One can safely guess that our Reformation Lunch and Festival began with lunch. A very special THANK YOU to Toby and Deanna Clarkson for preparing all the food. A very special "Reformation Stew" was the main dish. New to this writer and very delicious!  As we all know, Lutherans love to eat and this was no exception. The Reformation Stew was well received. An estimated 130 people attended.

The Reformation Family Fall Festival program was kicked off by our Adult Choir. Various other activities were enjoyed such as Booths with historical data, games for children, participants in period costumes, Reformation music, and scenes from John Osbourne's "Luther". Even a visit from Tetzel himself, still trying.
