Our Redeemer Lutheran Church invited children ages 3 years to 7th Grade to the "Jerusalem Marketplace: Where Jesus Walked to the Cross" as part of our annual Vacation Bible School. "Jerusalem Marketplace" is an exciting way for children to learn more about God's love and Jesus' sacrifice. The best part is that they learned by becoming immersed in authentic Bible-times culture. They witnessed real-life dramas in the center of town, chatted with shopkeepers about Jesus, and even discovered what the people know about Jesus. There were Bible-times crafts and tasty Middle Eastern snacks. It began on June 20th and continued through June 24th from 9AM to 12:00 noon each day. An evening dinner was the closeout for the program.
