Philippians 4:13 I can do all things in Christ because He gives me strength.
What
a great time everyone had this week learning about God, how He helps us, how we can share His love with others, and how we
can do the right thing to be an example for Him in our world. We had a total of 66 children attend, 46
staff members, and 8 people in Pastor’s Bible study each day.We
had approximately 170 people attend our closing program and dinner on Friday evening, and watched the Veggietale movie “The
Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything".
Our Offerings and Food CollectionWe collected a total of $ 188.20 and 395 pounds of food From the children who attended VBS all week,
another $63.00 on Friday night, and we are adding another $300.00 from the Sunday School Mission Fund. Close
to $600.00 will be our total that we will send to the Golden Harvest Food Bank. Please add to the food
collection in the coming weeks by placing non-perishable food items in the boat in the walkway. Thank you to everyone at Our Redeemer
who donated supplies, props, decorations, Michael’s coupons, offerings, and their time to our VBS outreach to children.
If you loaned us decorations like beach towels, rope, plants, etc. they will be on the stage by this coming Sunday
for you to collect and take home. If you did not see the Augusta Chronicle on Saturday, June 20, you missed an article in the Faith
Section about area VBS programs, and two great photos of our commodore (Pastor Schwartz) and some of the children!
